Installtion Timeline
When you work with Castaways Energy, you are working directly with the manufacturer. The same company that designed and manufactured your home solar system will also install and service it at no additional cost. Getting started with solar is a simple five-step process, and we’re with you every step of the way.
Step 1: Solar Consultation
It all begins with us getting to know you and your family’s electricity needs. A qualified Castaways Energy consultant will schedule a visit and sit down with you and your family to discuss what you want out of solar and what it can do for you.
We’ll take you through every aspect of your new solar power system: solar technology, how solar works together with the utility, solar incentives, financing options, and any other related project needs. You’ll find that your salesperson is deeply knowledgeable and obsessed with ensuring you make a well-informed decision about solar. This step is critical to ensuring your solar system fits your needs and that the installation project moves forward smoothly and effortlessly—for you!
Step 2: Design & Permitting
We will introduce you to your project coordinator once you sign the agreement. The project coordinator will schedule a site survey to make sure the installation goes smoothly. Of course, your representative from Castaways Energy is always available to answer your questions or address any concerns.
Step 3: Secure Permits and Approvals
Your Castaways project coordinator is responsible for securing HOA approval and city permits, coordinating work with the utility company, and scheduling required inspections. All of the necessary paperwork is completed for you so that the system complies not only with building and electrical codes but also with best practices.
Step 4: Install and Activate the System
Once all the permits have been secured, your Castaways project coordinator will make an appointment with you to have your home solar system installed. Our team also reviews the system manual and familiarizes you with each component. After a final inspection, your system is turned on and starts generating clean, renewable energy!
Step 5: Provide Ongoing Customer Service
From the initial meeting through the life of your solar system, the team from Castaways Energy is available to answer your questions and address your concerns. Your satisfaction is our number-one goal.
